"The Mortal Instruments: Shadowhunters" recently got a home in ABC Family. This will follow the story of Clary Fray and on her 18th birthday she will discover that she is like a shadowhunter and her mother has been kidnapped. Season one will follow Clary learning about Shadowhunter and the downwolders. It is said that no matter what Mortal Instrument fans will be getting at least a 13 episodes, although premier date has been set.
"Shadowhunters" will start shooting in May in Toroto. I believe that cast has been almost decided and they will probably starting telling who our Clary and Jace will be soon. (Figures crossed)
I personally love the "The Mortal Insturments," and I always thought that Clary was interesting character because she was thrown into a world she knew nothing about and she worked her hardest to survive. Also, I'm in love with series like "The Mortal Insturments."
Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instrumenets will be made into TV Show. Currently there is no cast for it. What I have found out is that they will be starting from the start as the movie never happened. Also, that Cassandra Clare meet with the writers, and she has confirmed that the characters will be around 2 years older than they are in the books.
The Mortal Instrument's is a serious of books with 6 books in total.
The Mortal Insturments Series follows Clary a young artist living in New York with her single mom. Clary spents most of her days with her nerdy friend Simon. Until one day her mom is kidnapped and she meets Jace.
Jace Hernondale is a Shadowhunter, and he helps her find out about what happened her mother. Clary discovers that she is not a normal girl but like Jace and his friends Isabelle and Alec Lightwood, she is too a shadowhunter. She learns that Shadowhunters or Nephilim are humans who are born with anglic blood.
Clary goes into an advanture with love, heartbreak and selfdiscovery about her and her family.
I'm acutally excited to see what they do with this series because I think it might be better as a tv show. I hope it comes to our screens soon because I can't wait.
